Some of this is not a call to us
A few pest situations are a medical or public health matter first, and it is worth being clear about which.
- A sting reaction with swelling beyond the sting site, difficulty breathing, throat tightness, dizziness, or a widespread rash — call 911. Anaphylaxis develops within minutes and does not wait for a phone consultation. Anyone with a known sting allergy should use their epinephrine auto-injector rather than wait to see.
- A bat found in a room with someone sleeping, an unattended child, or anyone who cannot confirm there was no contact — contact your local board of health and a doctor. The bat should be captured rather than released so it can be tested for rabies. Massachusetts has raccoon-variant rabies in the state.
- Any bite from a raccoon, skunk, fox, or bat — wash the wound and seek medical advice the same day.
- A rental property where the landlord will not act — under the Massachusetts State Sanitary Code the owner of a dwelling with two or more units is generally responsible for keeping it free of insect and rodent infestation, enforced by the local board of health. We will give you written inspection findings to hand over, at no charge, whether or not you hire us. That is general information, not legal advice.
- Do not handle any wild animal, alive or dead, and do not try to remove one from an attic yourself.

Is the inspection really free?
Yes, when you have a live problem and want a price for dealing with it. We identify what you have, map where it is getting in, and give you a written scope and price at no charge and no obligation. The one exception is a wood-destroying insect report for a property sale — that is a standalone paid inspection at $75 to $200, because it is a document rather than a quote.
What happens after I submit the form?
We call you back the same day to understand what you are seeing and, if it warrants a visit, book it. If your problem is something we would tell you not to pay for — a single wasp nest that will die off in three weeks, or a mouse situation you can handle with a door sweep — we will say so on that call rather than at the door.
Do you have a walk-in office?
No. The address below is a mailing address — we are a mobile service that works at your property, so there is nothing to visit. Everything happens on site at your home or building.
What information helps most on the first call?
What you are seeing, where in the building, and roughly how long it has been going on. Whether the building is single-family, two-family, or a three-decker matters a lot, because shared walls change the approach. Photographs are genuinely useful — of the insect, of droppings beside something for scale, or of the damage.
Can you come the same day?
Usually, across Worcester and the surrounding towns. We will also tell you honestly when same-day is not warranted. A wasp nest over a doorway or rodents in an occupied bedroom is worth moving on now. A seasonal treatment ahead of the spring is worth scheduling for when the weather suits it.
Do you charge for after-hours or weekend calls?
Same-day and out-of-hours work carries a surcharge of $50 to $150, quoted before we come out rather than added afterwards. A scheduled weekday booking costs no more or less than any other day.
